Photo retouching tutorials using GIMPimage 01

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.

Important; all of you must know that I'm far from being a GIMP expert. I started using this incredible software program as a hobby in February 2007 and had no previous experience using any type of graphics software. I purchased my first camera ever ( a Nikon D50 ) in February 2007 and also had no previous experience using digital or film cameras.

Tutorials and photo tricks in this site are not mine. Most are translations and ideas from photo retouching forums that I've adapted for GIMP with a few modifications.

Keep in mind when reading the instructions that English is not my first language ( yo hablo español ). So please forgive me for any deviations from the right application of the rules of written English.

Hopefully most of you will find the tutorials interesting and useful, despite the fact that I'm not a GIMP expert and that my English is only average.
